Authorization of Work
I authorize Keep My Pool Clear to perform professional leak detection using electronic diagnostic equipment and physical testing methods to determine whether water loss is caused by leakage, evaporation, equipment issues, plumbing failure, or structural defects.
Scope of Services
This agreement covers leak detection and diagnostic services only. Repairs, demolition, deck removal, excavation, restoration, plaster refinishing, tile replacement, or other repair work are not included unless separately approved in writing.
Testing Methods
Testing may include electronic water loss analysis, pressure testing, dye testing, equipment inspection, autofill evaluation, and other reasonable diagnostic procedures based on site conditions.
No Guarantee Under Certain Conditions
If the pool/spa is not full, clean, clear, and reasonably testable, or if the entire system cannot be tested, Keep My Pool Clear cannot guarantee that all leaks will be identified. The diagnostic fee remains due for time spent and testing performed.
Evaporation / No-Leak Result
If testing indicates water loss consistent with evaporation, splash-out, normal operation, or otherwise does not confirm a leak, the diagnostic fee remains due in full as a completed professional evaluation.
Concealed / Multiple Leaks
One leak may mask another. Hidden, underground, or inaccessible leaks may require follow-up testing after repair of the primary leak. Exact pinpointing is not guaranteed without destructive access where conditions require it.
Pre-Existing Conditions / Pressure Testing Risk
Testing may expose pre-existing weaknesses in aged, brittle, damaged, improperly installed, or previously repaired plumbing, fittings, valves, conduits, skimmers, drains, plaster, tile, or related components. Any such failure is considered evidence of an existing condition and not damage caused by Keep My Pool Clear.
Approximate Leak Marking
Any flags, paint marks, tape, or visual indicators used to identify a leak area are approximate only. Actual repair areas may be deeper, wider, or in a slightly different location than indicated.
Access and Site Conditions
Client agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the pool, equipment, plumbing, and work areas. Keep My Pool Clear is not responsible for delays, incomplete testing, or additional trips caused by limited access, low water, dirty water, nonfunctioning equipment, pets, locked gates, or unsafe conditions.
Water Chemistry / Cosmetic Effects
Diagnostic materials used may temporarily affect water clarity or chemistry. Keep My Pool Clear is not responsible for cosmetic mismatch in any future repair area, including plaster, pebble, tile, stone, or decking, unless specifically included in a separate repair contract.
Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the estimate terms above. If a deposit is required, scheduling is not confirmed until deposit approval is received. Any remaining balance is due on or before the date of service completion.
Cancellation / Rescheduling
Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours may be subject to a trip charge or cancellation fee. Rescheduled appointments are subject to next available scheduling.
Limitation of Liability
Keep My Pool Clear is not liable for consequential damages, water loss, landscape damage from pre-existing leaks, or the work of other contractors. Leak detection is a diagnostic service, not a guarantee of full system integrity.
